NSF is a non-profit organization run by volunteers with the sole objective of promoting excellence in education in US and India. It was established 26 years back in 1989 and the educational contests for children were started in 1993. The mission of the organization is to conduct Educational Contests to encourage academic excellence among Indian children in US and also to run NSF Scholarship program in India which is designed to encourage excellence among the poor children who excel academically but need help to attend college.
